What began as a small act of hope at my kitchen table quickly grew into an annual tradition, helping fund the research needed to stop seizures for Kora.
When Kora was first diagnosed at the age of one, I felt helpless watching seizures steal moments of her childhood. I turned that helplessness into action by baking purple heart-shaped cookies and selling them to friends, neighbors, and coworkers to raise money for CURE Epilepsy and research for a cure.
